How it all started
Dot Foods, the largest food industry redistributor in North America, has spent more than 60 years optimizing the food industry supply chain. Dot knows that ecommerce is the path forward for the long-term success of their distributor partners.
Dot was one of the first food industry leaders to provide an ecommerce platform where distributors and suppliers could buy and sell products. For more than 20 years, they have also set the standard for digital product content.
In 2021, it was time for Dot’s distributor partners to capture their share of the ecommerce boom. For that reason, they welcomed Morsum into the Dot Foods family in 2021. Morsum has dedicated the past 10 years developing state-of-the-art software solutions that increase foodservice profitability.
And so Anchovi was born: a platform built from Dot Foods’ and Morsum’s shared commitment to foodservice growth.
